In the late 1990s Janéne completed her Fine Arts education cum laude at the Johannesburg Art Foundation, majoring in Drawing and Sculpture.

After decades of shifting between homes, her art, teaching, healing, and the corporate world, she has firmly anchored into Hout Bay with her husband, daughter, and Starbucks the dog. Here she makes art, and is an accredited ANFT Forest Therapy Guide. She finds her truth in Nature, and makes art inspired by the Nature x Human connection. 

 

She has a sculpture series quietly incubating (watch this space), and is working on a series of mixed media drawings.
